Wayan has been a real nice guest, always giving good advices, taking care of us, always avalaible and trying to help. The bungalows are really beautiful, the breakfasts change everyday.

he room was very nice and the view over the ricefields beautyfull. Sri Bungalows was very close to the market, shops and nice restaurants.
Breakfast room was not pleasant to sit in... (would be nicer on the terras of the room)

Only shortcoming which i observed was the locking system of the rooms and the wash room doors which was not at all satisfactory and did not seem good from security angle.Hotel management needs to improve on this. My next visit to Bali I will prefer to stay more in Ubud that too in this hotel inspite of above shortcomings.

We have stayed at the hotel before and love it. We NEVER eat breakfast there - it is very ordinary but the bungalows and grounds are good value for us

The only issue is that the thatched roofs allow you to hear into the bungalow next to yours. This was pretty funny, as the man next door answered the questions I was asking to my husband

We really enjoyed our stay at Sri Bungalows! The rooms were very spacious, clean and well furnished. They almost had a “castle” atmosphere with the look of white brick walls and fancy doors. We loved the front porch with fresh tea supplied. We spent a lot of time reading and writing out there. The pool was narrow, but long and had a breathtaking view of the surrounding rice terraces. The breakfast had a nice variety of menu options and the staff we very friendly. We really appreciated the internet café right at the hotel and it was the cheapest rate we had found anywhere in Bali. It was also so convenient being right in the middle of the bustling Monkey Forest Road in the heart of Ubud. We found we only had to go a short distance from Sri Bungalows to get to excellent stores and restaurants. We were a little disappointed though about the price. Because we booked on line we had to pay a more expensive price than the original rate, but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Everyone was very polite and helpful. Nice variety for breakfast. There were small retail and service shops nearby which we patronized. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would recommend it to others.

The hotel stay was one of the highlights of our experience in Ubud. The service was extremely attentive and accomodating, the complimentary breakfast of fresh fruits and banana pancakes was top-notch, and the room was a lovely place of respite. We look forward to going back!

There are two things that I would like to add a comment about , first the swimming pool was next to a building site and not hidden at all, with very few chairs in the sun to sit on. The breakfast was served in the front lobby which was not very pleasant, it might be nicer to eat it on the terrace of our rooms. The location was excellent and the room was lovely. We really liked the tea every day. The drinks in the minibar were very reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

My stay at Sri Bungalows was so good that I called to make reservations when I was returning through Ubud. Unfortunately, they had no rooms available. They recommended another hotel that was right next door and unfortunately that hotel was not very nice. The linens did not look clean, the room in general did not seem clean, and the walls were so thin that we could hear everything that was going on in the next room. I will never stay at that hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay thank you very much. Sri Bungalows was a haven of peace and quiet off the busy monkey forest road. Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english. Rooms were spacious, light and airy. Having the pool there too was a relief from the hot sun and shopping! We would definitely return again. Excellent value for money.

Only one complaint: the soundproofing between two adjacent rooms in the bungalows should absolutely be improve.
