The bathrooms need updating and the pool needs a number of tiles replaced, a shade sail around the pool would be a big advantage. Value for money is unbeatable.

The room I stayed in was VERY tired. Some broken fixtures and a very old, stained bathroom; generally not all that well maintained.In contrast, the location couldn't be better and the setback from the street means it is peaceful and quiet. The main person (middle aged male) at reception was not exactly the image of Balinese hospitality as I normally know it, but all the other staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. In terms of value for money, I guess one cannot complain.

This is my third visit and stay with Kuta Beach Club. I am satisfied with it as a budget hotel, for USD42/night. It is considered fair price given its locality and size. However, I have two mention that the buffet breakfast quality has plenty of room to improve especially in terms of variety, all my stay, it gives me a feeling of not getting up for breakfast. The other let down was there are no wifi and the internet facility provided at the cafe is good, but it should cost much lesser and more terminal should be provided for convenience. Rooms are fairly clean, towels provided are acceptably clean. The in room TV is completely unwatchable as there are always only 1 channel that is clear enough to the eyes.

I was very impressed with the friendly attitude of the staff and it made a huge impact on our holiday, in fact we mention that whenever we tell friends about the trip and the facilities are beutiful as well. Thank you ever so much, Gary B.

This hotel is far better than most people's comments would lead to to expect. The hotel grounds cover a faily large area set in lush gardens. Very pleasant. Ideal romantics choice. There are 2 decent sized swimming pools and health spa. However, it does not have a gym. Breakfast was disappointing with few choices. Unless you arrive very early it will be all gone except for eggs which they cook on the spot.

my only disapointment were the ac in the rooms didn't work well and bath room are in need of improvement. will deffinetly stay on future holidays.they have the best staff.

We like the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly, the breakfasts were lovely and we will definitely be returning to this hotel.

We have stayed at the Kuta Beach Club many times before and we have noticed the improvements, but it seems that that little or no renovations are taking place. Some of the upstairs rooms do not look very good from the pool. Our room (253) had a fault with the toilet cistern and there was no TV other than the normal chanels which were mostly in Indonesian so perhaps a library of videos might be a good idea. I hope this helps. The staff at the Kuta Beach Club are extremely helpful. Breakfast is very ordinary. If you do not want rice for breakfast, then you can choose from eggs, fried, scrambled or omelette. I hope this helps. At present we are thinking of bringing our daughter, her husband and two children(aged 10 and 7) next July and staying in the Grand Suite,. We would stay there for 6 nights. Hotel is good value for money at a relatively good location but feel like living in an old folks home. Room is clean but look rather old & air-conditioning system is noise. Services at the reception/front desk is poor e.g. speak poor English, no sense of directions (take a cab is always the answer) & no map, etc. Customer services need to be improved at reception.

Staff were very friendly and its rather a nice place - but for the price you can do alot better, somewhere nearer the beach would be better, but its rather handy if you want restaurants and shops or indeed, loads of hassle as soon as you leave the hotel grounds! Forget the gym (its in need of a make over). The breakfast is pretty good (omelettes are superb), and try to get a room which backs into the pool. Rooms were a little dark with no view (well it was for me anyway)

An excellent location in Kuta Beach, not far from the main activities of the town, all within easy walking distance. Nice and quite at night. The room was comfortable and well serviced. The breakfast was a little limited but wholesome.

1) We used 3 rooms during our stay. Some rooms were not provided with the toiletries,etc ccording to the number of person stayed. 2) The house keeping staff come and clean the room while we're still inside the room (not even taking shower yet) or even our kids are still changing their clothes. 3) Even one morning at 08:00 while we were sleeping, a staff knocked our door very hardly and asking if we want the room to be cleaned. Such thing not supposed to happened in a 'STAR' hotel. They dont provide a sign for the door (Do not disturb/Make up my room). 4)There was one night that my children stayed without toilet paper, even after calling the House Keeping, it was only been supplied after the room been cleaned the next morning. 5) Many times after the cleaning, the dirty glasses left behind. In our room, when we checked in, there was an empty beer can from the previous client. 6) When we checked in, in the children's room (twin bed + extra bed), one of the blanket was dirty with tattoo stains from previous clients, even the dried tattoo ink was on the bed. When we asked to change it, they said there was no extra. They took out the blanket and put in the corner of the veranda, one of my child slept without blanket until we checked out, and the dirty blanked stayed in the veranda, no one took it away for laundry. 7) We were 7 people, but for many times the staff didn't provide us with the same number of towels, water,glass, pillows, toilet papers,etc. 8) The verandas are very dirty, the didnt clean properly, even in the little garden in front of the room, there was a cup of cooked noodles thrown out there, been there before we checked in, it was still there the next week when we left.

Difficult check out process seemed to take a very long time. This could be improved. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

When we first reached the hotel, I really think the its nice as the environment and facilities look great. But once we entered our rooms, I can hear all my friends "complaining". The floor is sticky, there are some strange smell, the lighting is not enough and everywhere looks unclean. When I requested an international adapter from counter, they said "all taken". It's really inconvenient as we can't charge our phone or camera battery. We have just checked out from Tegal Sari (Ubud) and feel like moving from heaven to hell. We Were in a group of 10 persons, and I am in charge of the accommodation in Kuta. My sister stayed in the deluxe room before, so she recommended this hotel to me. Too bad the standard room is totally different. I really feel embarrassing that I made everyone feel bad about it. The good thing is good location and their staff quite friendly. I really feel dissapointed.

We did enjoy our stay in Kuta although it was such a short time for us to enjoy the place. We are planning to visit Bali again but will go to a place where the beach is white so can go swimming all morning. I think Kuta beach is for surfing and we are not good with that. The location of the hotel is excellent and is very ideal shopping and surfing and the service is really excellent.

Very nice and pleasant say with that hotel. At night the rooms near the swiming pool is not dark is difficult for privacy. The breakfast must change menu for every day. The photographer must be available on whole morning session
